| Class II Audio Samples These four samples are taken from both the Amazon and the Andes mountains. The first is of Shaman Mateo as he sings to the Ayahuasca during the Ayahuasca (pronounced ey-ah-wah-ska) ceremony. The remaining three samples were recorded during various ceremonies with the mountain Shamen. As mentioned during the class, the sound carries a unique sonic signature. The Shamen consider these sacred sounds and use them to potentise their respective ceremonies. As you have discovered, the use of chants and sound is a powerful medium while preparing your connection to "source" or delivering your spiritual energy, whether during a ceremony or while learning to use your gifts. | Recorded during an actual Ayahuasca Ceremony, the Shaman sings his song to the feminine spirit of the Ayahuasca. Asking for protection and permission to enter the hidden realms of spirit, the Shaman - or Ayahuascaro - prepares himself and those with him for the journey beyond the bounds of our waking experience. You will notice the jungle sounds as he sings as well as several other unusual sounds (belching). Each sound is a part of the Shamans sound and plays a roll in the experience. |
| APU - The Spirit of the Mountain Performed deep within a cave known as the Temple of the Moon, this song is a deep meditation to release self. Once done, the spirits of the mountains can communicate with us more easily. The spiritual gifts of these deities are given with the blessing of these ancient Gods. |
| A Prayer for Mother Earth This song was performed on top of a mountain deep within the Andes. As they stood near a glacier, these Shamen sent an offering of incense and music to bless the Earth. |
| A Prayer for Mankind This song was also performed in the Temple of the Moon. It is meant to show love for the Earth and all who reside upon her. Imagine the effects of this sound - this song - as it vibrates the walls of the cave. Now imagine how this sonic force would effect your consciousness as you meditate here within the sacred temple. This is where I have shown hundreds the effects of breath and sound to illustrate the light projecting from their hands. |
